Our business was started in 2003 by Hobart King, a professional geologist who first used waterproof paper in a geology field course in 1975. He recognized the importance of durable waterproof documents and has used waterproof papers in his professional, business, and recreational activities ever since.In 2003 he started Waterproof-Paper.com and began selling waterproof paper to hikers, geologists, biologists, greenhouses, the U.S. military, nurseries, aquarium shops, foresters, gator farms, running race directors, real estate agents, and just about every kind of business you can imagine. Today he offers them for sale on WaterproofPaper.com and on Geology.com, a website that he has published since 2005. He writes most of the articles and all of the product descriptions that appear on these websites.
